This is served in our dining room during the following times: Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 9.00am (last sitting 8.45) Saturday and Sunday - 8.00am - 10.00am (last sitting 9.45) Due to the need to focus on preparing and cleaning guest accommodation, no breakfast will be served later than the stipulated times. Those wishing to have breakfast earlier than the stipulated times should make this known at the time of booking. Failure to do so may mean that we are not able to entertain your later request. Cancellations0-3 days prior to date of arrival - no refund of deposit paid 3-7 days prior to arrival - 50% refund of deposit paid 8+ days prior to arrival - 100% refund of deposit paid Check in/check Out Times/ChargesCheck in is any time between 2pm and 8pm on the date of your arrival Check out time is 10am on your date of departure save in the case of Saturday and Sunday when it is 10.30am Any variation to these times must be previously arranged and agreed Charges - please click on Booking Availability . Special rates may be agreed according to the nature of the booking, length of time stayed with us etc - for further details please contact us. Charges are calculated having regard to the room type and the number of persons occupying a room. Once checked in, the applicable daily rate of charge per day of your stay with us will apply irrespective of the number of hours in a day when the room is occupied by you ChildrenWe welcome children but would ask you to note the following: We do not have child beds or cots - save in the case of parents/guardians providing their own cot, a child will occupy an adult bed and the room rate applicable will be the adult rate; We expect Parents/guardians to be responsible for the supervision of their children at all times; DepositsA deposit in an amount which is equal to the room rate for one night per week of your booking is payable when your booking is confirmed. DisabilitiesWe respect your privacy. You are not obliged to advise us of any disability you may have, but it can help us to make your stay more pleasant if you advise us in confidence at the time of making your booking request or subsequently, of any disability that you may have. DisturbanceWe reserve the right to request that you vacate your room without entitlement to compensation and immediately in the event that either we or other guests reasonably complain of your behaviour or that of those staying with you or for whom you are responsible eg: excessive noise when others are trying to sleep. Facilities Room availability and related facilities We do not guarantee that the room we confirm as being booked will be available at all times during your stay. There may be circumstances beyond our reasonable control (eg: burst pipes, power failure) which prevent us from giving/continuing to give, you the room you have booked and the facilities normally comprised therein. In the event of such a circumstance, we will use our best endeavours to provide you with a room which is similar to and/or which has similar facilities, to the room you have booked. In the event that we are unable to do so, you will only be liable to pay us for the nights you have stayed. Under no circumstances may rooms be occupied by more than the number of persons who we have agreed to accept as permitted to occupy the particular room. For reasons of safety, security and insurance, the only persons permitted to occupy a room are those whose names we have accepted as part of the booking. Subject thereto, no other third party guests, relatives or friends may share the facilities provided Television We endeavour to maintain our televisions and related wiring/aerials in good condition but occasionally, for reasons beyond our control, the same may fail. In such circumstances, we will use our best endeavours to remedy the problem as quickly as reasonably possible but we do not guarantee that a television will be viewable at all times during your stay. Breakfast Occasionally, due to shortages of a particular product, it may not be possible to keep to our menu, in which case we will use our best endeavours to provide a substitute which is reasonably similar. Please advise us in advance of your stay with us or as soon as reasonably possible after your arrival if you have any food allergies. You should assume that all our breakfast products may contain nut traces. Parking Limited car parking is available for guests on a "first come first served" basis. We cannot guarantee the availability of car parking. There is off street car parking in the immediate vicinity to supplement that existing at Amberley Lodge. Those parking cars at Amberley Lodge do so at their own risk and no liability is accepted by us. Vehicles not removed following a period of stay will be removed without notice to the driver / owner and at their sole cost. Keys Guests are provided with a front door key and a key to their room. An administrative charge of £50 will be made in the event of a key being lost. Please ensure all keys are returned to us on departure. Keys not so handed in, will be treated as having been lost. Receipt of Post We may in our absolute discretion permit the delivery of a guest's private post to Amberley Lodge. The receipt of private post will be subject to such requirements and administration charges as we may, from time to time, stipulate. Any permission given may be revoked by us at any time and without reason. We shall in any event have no liability to you or any third party for any post that may, for whatsoever reason, fail to reach you notwithstanding that the same may be shown to have been delivered to Amberley Lodge.Food on PremisesFor reasons of cleanliness and hygiene, we do not permit the eating of meals in guest's rooms or anywhere else within the Building and its boundaries. We may in our discretion permit guests to use the dining room in the evening to eat food purchased by themselves and brought back to the premises. This will be subject to guests using cutlery and dishes provided by us and tidying up after themselves using a rubbish bin provided. In our discretion, guests may at their sole risk, use the communal microwave and fridge located in the dining room. LiabilityYour liability to us: Payment - balance of payment is due on the day of your departure in respect of the period of your stay; In the event that you or those staying with you or for whom you are responsible, cause damage to any part of the building, your room or any facilities serving either, you will be charged the full cost of repairing and making good (or if such is not possible, replacing with new) the item or items damaged. If you become aware of any damage, we strongly recommend that you advise us of the same as soon as reasonably possible since this will enable us to discuss with you how best to resolve the difficulty. Our liability to you: Our goal is to provide you with good quality, clean accommodation, accompanied by a hearty breakfast, all of which represents "value for money". Except in case of any death or personal injury suffered by a guest as a result of our negligence as defined in Section 1 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, we shall not incur any liability of any kind or nature whether in contract or tort or otherwise howsoever caused for any damage, loss, liability or expenses suffered or incurred by our guests or any other person arising directly indirectly or in any manner whatsoever out of the goods, services or facilities provided by us. In any event, and notwithstanding anything contained in these Terms and Conditions our liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise arising by reason of or in connection with the goods or services provided by us (except in relation to death or personal injury caused to a guest by our negligence) shall be limited to a refund equal to the room rate x the number of nights stayed with us in one single continuous stay. No SmokingFor reasons of health and safety, Amberley Lodge has a strict no-smoking policy on any part of the premises. Persons wishing to smoke may do so outside the Building in such location as we might designate. PaymentAt the end of your stay with us, we accept payment by any one of the following methods: cash cheque guaranteed by a card issued by a UK clearing bank credit card - mastercard, visa, electron, solo Any deposit previously paid will, subject to any Liability you may have to us (see above), be offset against the final amount of your account. In the case of corporate accounts eg: universities, health authorities, banks etc, special provisions apply. For further details please contact us using any of the methods listed above. PetsThe facilities at Amberley Lodge are not suitable for pets and therefore, save only in the case of any guest who is a registered blind person accompanied by a trained blind dog, pets cannot be accepted. SafetyWe are committed to your safety. Fire alarms or smoke detectors and clearly marked fire exits are to be found in each corridor and room. In the case of fire, please sound the alarm and use the nearest fire exit. All persons exiting the building should gather at the assembly point at the front of the building. Tampering in any way with any safety feature will be treated as a fundamental breach of these terms and conditions entitling us to request that you vacate your room immediately and without compensation from us. Jurisdiction and Applicable lawThese Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts with regard to any claim or matter arising in connection with the same |
